CLASS SIZE
A low student/teacher ratio is one of the significant advantages Good Shepherd provides. Class sizes meet the requirements of the N.Y. State Office of Children & Family Services.
BEFORE and AFTER CARE PROGRAM
This flexible program is available to all students. Daycare is provided between the hours of 7 - 9 a.m. and 3 - 6 p.m. Care is often provided through this program when school is closed for holidays and conferences.
PARENT INVOLVEMENT
Parents are vitally important in the life of Good Shepherd School. Parent-Teacher conferences and orientation sessions are designed to bring us together for the sake of the children. Our parents take advantage of a wide variety of opportunities to become involved in the school as well, assisting with special events and fundraisers to benefit the children. Special presentations are also planned during the year so that school families have the opportunity to celebrate together with their children.
We encourage parents to communicate freely with teachers and the director; this is possible on a daily basis as parents come into the building every day at drop-off and pick-up times.
APPLICATION
Application for enrollment may be submitted at any time. Consideration of each application accompanied with the appropriate fee is made in the order received. A child is admitted if the school’s program is capable of meeting the child’s needs.
